Eligibility Requirements for Tripura TET 2021
For Class I to V -Paper I
For T-TET Paper-I, candidates must have at least 50 percent in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) by whatever name known.
Or, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, a Senior Secondary (or similar) diploma with at least 45 percent marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education by any name known (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05).
Or, Senior Secondary School diploma (or equivalent) with at least 50% grades and a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree (B. El. Ed.).
Alternatively, a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year education diploma (Special Education).
Graduation and a two-year certificate in elementary education (or a one-year certificate in education up until the academic year 2004-05) by any name.
Alternatively, a Bachelor of Education and a graduation with at least 50% marks (B.Ed.). (Furthermore, a candidate with a B. Ed. from any NCTE approved institution and a graduation grade point average of 50 percent or higher will be considered for appointment as a teacher in grades I to V, provided that the person so appointed would be required to undergo mandatory teacher education.)

Alternatively, a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year education diploma (Special Education). Paper II is designed for students in grades 6 through 8.
For the T-TET Paper-II, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Graduation and a two-year certificate in elementary education (or a one-year certificate in education prior to the academic year 2004-05).Or, Bachelor's degree in education and a minimum of 50% in either graduation or post-graduation (B.Ed.).Or, Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) and graduation with at least 45 percent marks, as defined by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. Alternatively, a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree (B. El. Ed.).Alternatively, a Senior Secondary (or similar) diploma with at least 50% grades and a 4-year B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed / B. Sc. Ed. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in education (B. Written Exam of Tripura TET 2021
