For Paper I – Primary School Teacher, Mizoram TET 2021 Requirements
Applicants must have completed or be enrolled in the last year of a two-year diploma in elementary education (D. El. Ed) and have received a minimum of 50% in their 12th grade.
OR applicants who have completed or are currently enrolled in the last year of a two-year diploma in elementary education (D. El. Ed) as per NCTE requirements and have a minimum of 45 percent marks in their 12th grade can apply.
Applicants who have completed or are currently enrolled in the final year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) programme are also eligible to apply.
OR applicants who have completed or are in the last year of a two-year diploma in elementary education (D. El. Ed) can apply.
Middle School Teacher (Paper II)
Applicants must have completed or be in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education (D. El. Ed).
OR Candidates who have graduated with a minimum of 45 percent and have passed or are currently enrolled in the last year of a one-year B.Ed. programme approved by NCTE are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed or are in the last year of a one-year bachelor's degree in education or a one-year bachelor's degree in education (special education) can also apply.
OR applicants who have passed or are currently enrolled in the final year of a four-year B.Sc./ B.A.Ed./ D. El. Ed programme with a minimum of 50 percent can apply.
