Rajasthan Public Service Commission RPSC SO Educational Qualifications & Experience Details
Statistical Officer (SO) : Essential Qualifications & Experiences
- At least second class Master’s degree in Economics, or
- At least second class Master’s degree in Statistics, or
- At least second class Master’s degree in Mathematics with paper in Statistics, or
- At least second class Master’s degree in Commerce with Statistics, or
- At least second class M.Sc (Agriculture) Statistics from a University established by law in India or Foreign qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto by the Government.
- The government has determined that foreign qualifications are equal. and a certificate (RS-CIT course conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited) issued by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, or any other certificate issued by a competent authority declared equivalent to the above certificate by the Rajasthan Department of Information, Technology, and Communication.
- Experience: Experience of handling official Statistics at least for one year in a Government Department or reputed Commercial concern or University.
Provided that candidates –
- With a first-class Master's degree or Doctorate in any of the subjects listed under Educational Qualifications; or
- Having completed two years of statistical training at a recognised Statistical Institute or University; or
- Having completed a one-year diploma course with Statistics and Economics as an optional paper from a recognised University or Institution; or
- Belonging to Scheduled Caste.
- Knowledge of Rajasthani culture and working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script
