Job Desription:-
Good understanding of IT industry with waterfall model delivery, testing life cycles/terminologies, defect life cycles, Agile &Dev-Ops Model and tools.
Aptitude and Eagerness to explore new things and take up the new challenges to keep the learning curve up steep. Has to be a team player.
Good written and verbal communication skills which will help the resource to articulate the thoughts in correct direction.
Hands-on experience in one or more technical areas of Mainframe technology and tools such as COBOL, IMS, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, TWS, File-Aid
Domain Knowledge in Retail Banking and testing experience in one or more core banking product platforms/systems such as Accounting and clearing / General Ledger, Payments, Customer, Fraud, Debit Cards, CAMSII or similar systems.
Experience in Mainframe Development/Testing and Automation Tools/Languages.
Participate in organization activities to promote Barclays culture.
Qualifications:-
Graduate with software engineering and development background.
Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage.
Understand the requirement and create High and low level test scenarios/cases, test data.
Execute the test cases (manual as well as automation).
Raise the defect and follow up with the stakeholders with correct evidences.
Follow the timelines for the allocated work.
Candidate should be able to work with both Dev and Test teams
Create/ amend simple to medium complex and test programs in accordance with the design, following relevant code management procedures and applying agreed coding standards
