Indian Overseas Bank IOB Recruitment 2022 – Educational Qualifications
- Should have passed in 10th standard or its equivalent examination but the candidate should not have passed the Graduation examination or its equivalent.
- The candidate should be able to speak, read, and write in the local vernacular language.
- The character should be “EXEMPLARY‟ at the time of valid discharge from the Armed Forces.
- The medical standards which the candidates must possess should be minimum SHAPE1 or AYE, whichever is applicable, at the time of valid discharge from the Armed Forces.
- Ex-Servicemen who do not possess the above civil examination qualifications should be matriculated Ex-Servicemen who have obtained the Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force after having completed not less than 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union as on the Cut-off Date. Such certificates should be dated on or before the Cut-off Date.

- Selected candidate will be placed in the under-mentioned pay scale in the Subordinate staff cadre, as per Bipartite Settlement. Rs.14500-500/ 4-16500-615/ 5-19575-740/ 4-22535-870/ 3-25145-1000/ 3-28145.
- However, Basic pay will be fixed based on the last drawn salary during their defense service. In addition, they are entitled to emoluments as per the Industry-wide Bipartite Settlement and as per the policies and rules of the Bank.
