There will be three parts to this exam. Section-A will cover 20% of the subjects, including English Language, General Knowledge/Awareness, and Oil India Limited questions. Reasoning, Arithmetic/ Numerical, and Mental Ability account for 20% of Section B. Domain or Relevant Technical Knowledge: Questions will be based on the qualifications stipulated for the role and will be commensurate with the post's level. The whole thing takes two hours. Negative marking will not be used.

Exam Pattern for Junior Assistants in Oil India
The Computer Based Test (CBT) question paper will be divided into three (three) portions, as shown below: Reasoning, Arithmetic/ Numerical & Mental Ability, and Relevant Technical Knowledge are all included in the course curriculum, depending on the role. As a result, the candidates will be evaluated using the following parameters and marks distribution in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

- The multiple-choice questions (MCQ) structure of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be used to assess the required skills, such as MS Office competency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- In the computer-based test, there will be no negative grading (CBT).
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be multilingual, meaning it will be available in English and Assamese.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will take approximately 02 (two) hours to complete.
