Requirements for TNTET 2021
Paper 1: B. Ed in Nursery Teacher Training for 2 years, BTC in Urdu, and BTC/ Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education from a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET for grades I to V. Candidates who are currently pursuing a D.E. Ed or B. Ed degree are also eligible.
Paper 2: An A./B.Sc./B.Lit. degree with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, and Geography as major subjects from a recognised university under the 10+2+3 pattern, as well as a B .Ed for a graduate teacher from a recognised university.
Candidates with a B.Lit. Tamil degree should also have a B.Ed., D. T .Ed., or TPT certification.
