Railway Recruitment Cell ER Apprentice Educational Qualifications Details
The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of marks in aggregate from a government recognized Board, as well as have a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/ SCVT. In the following trades, however, the minimum educational need is an eighth-grade diploma from a recognized school and a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade provided by NCVT/ SCVT:

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and under the age of 24 at the time of application submission.
SC/ST candidates have a 05-year higher age limit, OBCNCL candidates have a 3-year upper age limit, and PWBD candidates have a 10-year upper age limit.
