MTET Employment Application (Extended), Exam Date, and Qualification | Meghalaya TET 2021 Notification

@ megeducation.gov.in | Application Form Released, Exam Date, Eligibility: The Meghalaya Teacher Eligibility Test will be held in 2021, with the date to be published by the Department of Education in Meghalaya. Candidates who want to work as teachers in elementary schools (lower primary I to V, and upper primary VI to VIII) must apply before the deadline. Qualifications for Meghalaya TET 2021

Class I-V

Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% for general candidates and at least 45 percent for ST/ SC candidates, as well as a 2-year diploma in elementary education in compliance with the NCTE (recognised criteria and procedure) Regulation 2002.

OR a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education with a minimum of 50% for general candidates and at least 45 percent for SC/ ST candidates with a Higher Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with at least 50% for general candidates and at least 45 percent for SC/ ST candidates (B. El. Ed).

OR a Diploma in Education and a Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% for General Candidates and a minimum of 45 percent for SC/ST Candidates (Special Education).

OR, in line with NCTE (recognised standards and procedure), regulation 2002, a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with a 45 percent for SC/ST and 50 percent for the general.

OR a person enrolled in one of the NCTE-approved (or RCI-approved) teacher education programmes listed in the NCTE Notification of August 23, 2010.

Classes VI-VIII

B.A./B. Sc. with a minimum of 45 percent for ST/SC and 50 percent for General Candidates and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in compliance with NCTE (recognised criteria and procedure) regulation 2002.

OR B.A./ B. Sc. with a minimum of 50% for general candidates and a minimum of 45 percent for ST/SC candidates with a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) in compliance with NCTE (recognised norms and procedure) regulation 2002.

OR a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education and a Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% for General Candidates and 45 percent for ST/SC (B. El. Ed)OR B.A./B.Sc. with at least 50 percent for General Candidates and 45 percent for ST/SC and 4-Year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed OR B.A/B.Sc. with at least 50 percent for General Candidates and 45 percent for ST/SC and 1-year B. Ed (Special Education).

OR a person enrolled in one of the NCTE-approved (or RCI-approved) teacher education programmes listed in the NCTE Notification of August 23, 2010.

Restrictions on Age

As of the first day of the first month of the year in which the advertisement was published, the candidate must not have reached the age of 32 (relatable up to 37 in the case of SC/ST candidates).Candidates already in government service must have first entered employment within the age restriction specified in Clause I above, and must receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent office/department in order to apply and appear for the test. Applicants engaged in aided schools and contractual teachers appointed must be 35 years old as of the first day of the year (relatable up to 5 years in the case of ST/SC candidates) if they are eligible.

TET Curriculum Meghalaya 2021

Questions on the following subjects will be asked in the Meghalaya TET 2021 Exam. Paper I is for students in grades I through V, whereas Paper II is for students in grades VI through VIII.

Exam Schedule for Meghalaya TET 2021

In the Meghalaya TET 2021 Exam, all questions will be multiple choice. There will be no negative marking for erroneous answers, and each correct answer will receive 1 mark. Each paper will include 150 multiple-choice questions.
