The Manipur Teacher Eligibility Test (Manipur TET) will be held in order to fill teacher positions in classes I through VIII. TET Qualification in Manipur for 2021
Class I – V (Primary Stage) Minimum Qualifications: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education passed or appearing in the final year
OR passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in conformity with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
OR a Senior Secondary (or equivalent) diploma with at least 50% marks and a passing or appearing in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education degree (B. EI. Ed.).
OR a Senior Secondary (or similar) diploma with at least 50 percent passing or appearing in the last year of a two-year diploma programme in education (Special Education).
OR a passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education Diploma with a minimum of 50% grades (by whatever name known).
Teacher Education Requirements for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage).
Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year Elementary Education diploma programme.
OR a bachelor's degree in education with at least a 50% passing grade or a one-year bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.).
OR, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard, graduation with at least 45 percent marks and passing or appearing in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a four-year Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (B.EI. Ed.).
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of a four-year B.A./ B.Sc. Ed. or B.A.Ed./ B.Sc. Ed. programme, or graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a one-year B.Ed. programme (Special Education).
Candidates who are in their last year of a Bachelor's degree in education or a Diploma in Elementary Education, for example, are provisionally admitted, and their TET Certificate will only be recognised if they complete the aforementioned exams.
