Description of the Team and Role
Various subdivisions make up the R&D-Engineering team. This position is part of the Product Centre-India, which is separated into products such as Treasury, Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Clearing. This position will work as part of a new team including Software Engineers and SME-Managers. The Engineering team is looking for students in their final year of study (BE/B. Tech/MCA) that are interested in working with them. This is a 6-month position with the possibility of becoming a permanent team member based on performance at the conclusion of the period.
An Outline of the Division
R&D at Calypso consists of Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Architecture and Infrastructure teams, all of whom are focused on producing a powerful yet adaptable technology platform that meets the needs of end users. Our development teams make sure that every code is of the highest quality when it is delivered to clients. Our product managers bring together technical and capital market professionals to create and build our software and product roadmap, whilst our QA team is continually working to improve the quality of our platform delivery through test techniques for implementations, updates, and migrations.

From original requirements through delivery, work collaboratively with product managers and clients to develop new features.
Using Java technology, create and develop new tools.
Based on the specifications provided by the product manager, assists with the creation, documentation, and testing of the packaged business solution.
Intern Requirements and Skills
Excellent object-oriented design, development, and analysis abilities.
Database knowledge of Oracle and/or Sybase.
Java, RMI, XML, C++, and UNIX/Linux are all skills that you should have.
