National Health Mission NHM Karnataka CHO Essential Qualifications Details
- She or he must be a registered nurse with at least a B.Sc Nursing/ post basic B.Sc Nursing qualification/ or equivalent qualification from a Karnataka State Nursing Council/ Indian Nursing Council certified institution.
- Candidates for B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing must have graduated from RGUHS or another recognized university and must have registered with KNC/ INC.
- She or he must be proficient in both English and Kannada, and must have completed matriculation or SSLC with Kannada as one of the languages.
- Candidates must be computer literate.

- 40 years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I

- Community Health Officer(CHO) will get a salary of Rs. 24200/- per month for High priority districts (HPDs) namely Bidar, Ballari, Kalburgi Raichur, Chikkamagaluru, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Koppala, Uttara Kannada, Shivamogga, Yadgiri, Chamarajnagara, & Gadag
- Rs. 22000/- per month for Non-High priority districts (Non-HPDs) namely Chitradurga, Haveri, Kolara, Belgaum, Tumkur, Mysore, Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, Udupi, Chikkaballapura, Kodagu, Davanagere, Bengaluru rural, Bengaluru urban, and Dharwad Districts
An additional amount of Rs. 8000/- per month will be paid as a performance-based incentive against the achievement of a set of service delivery indicators to all working Community Health Officers (CHO).
National Health Mission NHM Karnataka CHO Selection Process 2021
- Candidates who have completed a BSc/PB BSc nursing programme with an integrated and non-integrated curriculum (Community Health Nursing-II) from a recognized university will be considered.
- A minimum pass in a BSc/PB BSc nursing course, as well as a degree certificate and registration with the Nursing Council, will be required to sit for the selection tests.
- On October 23rd, 2021, the exam will take place.
National Health Mission Application Fee
