Social Worker : 20 posts (2 Social Workers at each Cell to be established in 10 districts of UT of Jammu & Kashmir)
Tata Institute of Social Sciences TISS Social Worker Educational Qualifications & Experience Details 2021
A post-graduate degree in social work (M.A. in Social Work/ MSW) from a Central/Deemed/State-Recognized University is required. At the discretion of the Selection Committee, candidates residing in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir with a Master's degree in other social sciences such as Women Studies, Psychology, or Sociology may be considered.
Additionally, the candidate must have two years of experience working in the field of social development. Applicants having two years of relevant work experience on the subject of gender-based violence, specifically in direct casework and/or intervention work on women's issues at the grass-roots level, will be given priority.
Working knowledge of English and comfort with computers and the internet are also required, as is verbal and written fluency in local languages/ dialects (Kashmiri/ Urdu/ Dogri and others as spoken in the relevant district).
