English : Should have earned a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution with a minimum of 45 percent in the General category and 40 percent in the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped category, with English as an elective.

Should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honors (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed post Graduation in English; and Should have passed B.Ed. from a recognised university or institution with English as one of the teaching subjects in accordance with University Grants Commission guidelines.
Math : In the case of General Category applicants, they must have obtained a grade point average of 45 percent, while Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes candidates must have obtained a grade point average of 40 percent. Candidates from the Backward Classes and Physically Handicapped must have graduated from a recognised university or institution with Mathematics as a subject for at least three years and must have completed a B.Ed from a recognised university or institution with Mathematics as one of the teaching subjects, as per the University Grants Commission guidelines.
Science :
a) Science (Non-Medical)
For General Category candidates, a B.Sc. with 45 percent marks is required, while Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped students must have a B.Sc. with 40 percent marks are required. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or institution with a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics or any other equivalent qualification, however the consumed university must issue a certificate of equivalency in accordance with the University Grants Commission's criteria.
