DGR Punjab IT Cadre Educational Qualification

Senior System Manager (SSM) : 
  1. Should have a B.E/ B.Tech in Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science and MBA OR MCA and MBA from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 50% in each case.
  2. Should have nine (9) years of experience in the field of ICT.
System Manager (SM) : 
  1. Must have a B.E/ B.Tech in Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science and MBA OR MCA and MBA from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 50% in each case.
  2. Four (4) years of experience in the field of ICT is required.
Assistant Manager (AM) : 
  1. Must have a B.E/ B.Tech in Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science OR MCA from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 50% in each case.
  2. should have three (3) years of experience in the field of ICT
Technical Assistant (TA) : 
  1. A B.E. or B.Tech in Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication/ Computer Science OR a Master's degree in Computer Applications from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 50% in aggregate in each case is required. OR,
  2. Candidates who passed the final exam/final semester of their B.Tech/ B.E in IT/ EC/ CS or MCA from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 50% in aggregate in each case are also eligible to apply, subject to the requirement that they submit a final semester passed certificate/ degree/ marks card at the time of joining, failing which their candidature will be re-evaluated.

DGR Punjab IT Cadre Age Limit 2021

As of January 1, 2021, the age range must be between 18 and 37.

Senior System Manager (SSM) : Rs. 1,25,000/-
System Manager (SM) : Rs. 85,000/-
Assistant Manager (AM) : Rs. 55,000/-
Technical Assistant (TA): Rs. 35,000/

DGR Punjab IT Cadre Selection Process 2021

Written Exam and Interview are part of the DGR Punjab IT Cadre Selection Process.
Candidates for the position of Technical Assistant will, however, be chosen only on the basis of their performance in the written test. For the position of Technical Assistants, no interview will be held.
