HQ Southern Command Recruitment Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
Material Assistant (Supdt Store) - Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline from any recognized Institute.
LDC - 12th pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University. English typing @35 w.p.m. on the computer or Hindi typing @ 30 w.p.m on the computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
Telephone Operator Grade-II - Matriculate or equivalent with English as the compulsory subject. Proficiency in handling in PBX Board and fluency in spoken English.
Steno Grade II - (i) 12th pass or equivalent from recognized Board or University.
Fireman - Matriculation from recognized Board or University.
Cook - Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board. Diploma in cooking from any recognized Institute e.g. ITI/Vocational College
Tradesman Mate - Matriculation from recognized Board or University.
Safaiwala, Messenger, Gardner & Female Searcher - Matriculation from recognized Board or University. Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year‟s experience in the trade
Washerman - Matriculation from recognized Board or University. Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year‟s experience in the trade.
Armourer - Matriculation pass from recognized Board and Certificate from a recognized Technical Training Institute in the specified trade or equivalent Defence services tradesman courses and 03 years‟ experience in the trade.
Fitter or Fitter (MV) - Matriculation pass from recognized Board. Certificate from a recognized ITI in the trade or 03 years training or experience of actual work in a Govt workshop or in a private firm of repute.
Tin & Copper Smith - Matriculation pass from recognized Board. Certificate from a recognized ITI in the trade or 03 years training or experience of actual work in a Govt workshop or in a private firm of repute.
Vehicle Mech - Matriculation pass from recognized Board. Certificate in the trade from a recognized ITI or 03 years training or experience of actual work in the trade or allied trade in a Govt workshop or in a private firm of repute.
Barber - Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board with proficiency in Barber‟s trade job with one year experience in the trade.
