The key job responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for designing,coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software.Prepares and maintains technical documentation. May participate in applicationcomponent and data architecture design, performance monitoring, productevaluations and recommendations. Provides development, quality assurance,integration and configuration management for technology products. Works underthe direction of senior engineers and technical lead to understand businessrequirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.Provides technology support and is involved in the full systems life cycle. Mayserve internal or external clients.
1.Participates in the design, coding of simple to moderately complex features, debugging, testing, configuration, and deployment of third-party tools and application software.
2.Investigates and corrects reported issues against existing software. May recommends performance improvements including coding alternations or process changes.
3.Responsible for adhering to design, coding, and unit testing standards.
4.Gathers relevant data to ensure accurate understanding of the functional requirements and business drivers of technical solutions. Assists in the development of applications and approaches that address business needs and enable business processes.
5.Provides on-going support to business and content teams managing sites on strategic technology platform. Administers and helps maintain source control and version control systems, defect tracking systems and correct security/permission for technology product.
6.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
The key skillsrequired
·Basic MS Office;
·Intermediate to Advance level of proficiency in software developmentusing most of the following: C#, ASP.NET, ADFS/Azure AD, MVC, Angular JS, BootStrap, XML, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3 and database development (using MS SQLServer, T-SQL).
·Basic understanding of ADFS, commonly used design patterns and designdocumentation.
·Basic understanding of scripting unit tests, configuration management,code repository and build automation.
