Job Description:
The Zephyr OS Engineering Team is looking for an embedded software developer for real- time / embedded systems with strong experience in open source, embedded RTOS, Linux kernel, and embedded development that will join SSG/Open Source Technology OTC. The main responsibilities include component ownership and contribution open source projects, work on the design, development, and debug of various software components and tools for the Zephyr Project, develop software to enable Intel embedded platforms and interaction with external companies, open source communities and business units within Intel.Zephyr Project is a small, scalable real-time operating system for use on resource-constrained systems supporting multiple architectures.
Qualification :-
Required skills: * Deep C programming language knowledge that allows understanding of kernel and driver level code. * Deep shell/Python scripting knowledge. * Familiarity with embedded platforms * Deep knowledge of operating systems, either Linux or any other RTOS. * Good understand open source development methodology and practice. * Working experience using Git as source control system. * Outstanding organization, documentation, and English communication skills. * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. * Must possess a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of relevant work experience in a related field. Desired Skills: * Experience developing or debugging device drivers e.g. networking, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB. * Prior embedded RTOS or Arduino development, especially for extremely small footprint devices, sensor nodes, or small wireless devices. * Prior contributions to open source projects. * Prior working experience using Agile development. * Experience with SW and HW debugging tools, e.g. GDB and JTAG.
