Responsibilities:
Conduct independent Functional testing for changes to the application, understanding non-life/P&C insurance business process and the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
Design test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functionals to ensure maximum coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment
Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results.
Update & maintain documentation of the executed test cases, using IBEXI's methodology
Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed and help in UAT support to users
Requirements:
0- 2 years working experience with exposure to IT Systems with complex business processes, and planning for functional testing, impact analysis of changes, and regression testing.
Those without work experience must have a degree from a top-tier college ( ranked in the top 25) in India.
Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills
Exposure to major applications in any area – Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing.
Should have experience in understanding business requirements, functional specifications. Should have exposure to technology – HTML, SQL.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Good learner and self-starter, and a team player, ready for the next challenge - wherever it may be.
B.E (or equivalent)
Fresh candidates with good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills may also apply.
Any Insurance/ Industry Standard Testing Certification – will be preferred
Experience in insurance, esp non-life insurance and exposure to a policy admin system- like IDIT/Policy400/Genesys/E-Bao Tech / FirstGen/Premia/INGENIUM/ALIS/Life-Asia – will be preferred.
